Kashi Vishwanath Temple is most important Jyotirling being located in Kashi. It is said that Kashi or Varanasi is most loved place to lord shiva and it is considered to be situated on trident of Shiva. Government have decided to give massive makeover to nearby area of Kashi Vishwanath temple to make it Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor with 600 crore fund. Corridor will connect holy Ganga river Manikarnika & Lalita Ghat through 50 feet wide lane. This lane will be completely based on Kashi Vishwanath temple history and comfort to pilgrims. It will include many ancient temples came out during makeover from old buildings, Museum, Anna Kshetra, Shops, Yaghshala and stay facility for pilgrims.
This will help Varanasi to manage current pilgrim crowds and it will become capable of handling huge potential pilgrim growth in coming years. This will help in growth of number of visitors to Varanasi.
