Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
Day 01 : Kathmandu
On arrival at Kathmandu airport you will be welcome by Sankrit Tour Zone representative & transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu. Day 02 : Kathmandu In morning after breakfast visit Pashupatinath & Budhanilkantha. In the evening programme briefing will be done. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu. Day 03 : Kathmandu to Nyalam (3700 mts.) On first day after breakfast depart from Katmandu to China border by tourist coach(06 hours). Our agent will complete custom formalities and check into Tibet -an autonomous part of China. After lunch drive to a small Tibetan town called Nyalam by Land Cruiser. Overnight stay at Nyalam Guest House. Dinner at Guest house cook and serve by own our cook. Day 04 : Nyalam After breakfast Nyalam Full day acclimatization - Full day free for excursion of Nyalam city. Day 05 : Nyalam to Saga After breakfast drive from Nylam to Saga (4250mts.) for about 08:00 hours which is 230 kms. Overnight stay at Saga in tent or guesthouse. Day 06 : Saga to Paryang- After breakfast proceed to Paryang(4450 mts.) for about 07:00 hours which is about 280 Kms. Overnight at Paryang in tent or guesthouse. Day 07 : Paryang to Mansarovar Lake (4550 mt.) After breakfast leave for Manasarovar in a distance about of 275 km which takes about 08:00 hours. This is the first day stay at the bank of the Manasarovar Lake chui Gompa. Overnight stay in tent or guesthouse. Day 08 : Mansarovar to Darchen (4600mts. - 110kms.) Mansarovar round by Land Cruiser. We will choose the special point to take dip in Manasarovar Lake and do Pooja of Lord Shiva. Half day free for spiritual activities. Drive around 2.00 hrs to Darchen and overnight stay there. Our guide will proceed for local authority for further program, Porter, yak & Horse arrangement. Day 09 : Darchen to Diraphuk (4900 mts.) Drive about 10 kms to Tarboche. This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama(round Tour). We should start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day we have to walk continuously for about 6 to 7 hours. Yak will carry all our goods and equipment. Overnight stay at Diraphuk in tent or Guest House. Day 10 : Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790mts.) This day is very sensitive and we have to pass Dolma-La Pass, which is about 5500 mt. above sea level. The weather in unpredictable in Doma-la Pass and at any time snowstorm can fall. So we try to start our journey as early as possible. In route we can have Darshan of Gaurikund but it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay in route to Zhulthulphuk in tent or Guest House. Day 11 : Zhulthulphuk to Paryang
We will Trek down to Darchen later our tour starts back for Kathmandu following the same route and same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal or we can stay at Manasarovar Lake overnight at Tent or Guest House. Day 12 : Paryang to Saga Drive back to Saga Day 13 : Saga to Nyalam Drive back to Nyalam, which is the last stay in Tibet part. Day 14: Nyalam to Katmandu After custom formalities we will be picked up by Nepal side and continue drive to Kathmandu for about 06.00 hours and check into same hotel. Day 15: Departure After Breakfast departure for Airport to catch your flight for next Destination Late March to September Cost includes: Deluxe hotel accommodation with all Veg meal in Nepal, sightseeing in Kathmandu, Tibet camp accommodation or best available guest house with sleeping bag, mattresses, all veg meal, dining tent & toilet tent, Transportation by land cruiser, permit & visa fees for Tibet China, Oxygen cylinder & air compressor bag, yak to carry luggage, cook and English speaking professional guide. Risk and Liabilities: we will endeavour to make your journey smooth and as pleasant as possible. However the entire program in Tibet is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of China Tibet Tourism Bureau. Therefore, Sankrit Tours and Travel (P.) Ltd & its related organizations will not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstance such as Government restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, snow and poltical unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, delay due to shortage of land cruiser jeep in Tibet, sickness or Accident. Any extra cost including there shall be borne by traveller themselves.
Document: Minimum three months valid passport and two copies of PP size photograph. A normal health certificate from your personal doctor to those are 50 years and above by age. Fitness: This is not trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this tour if they think themselves fit and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult to their doctor. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all. Food and Beverage: We will serve delicious continental & Indian food; Breakfast and Dinner in campsite serve by Nepali trained staff. Pack lunch will be provided for daytime. We will serve Mineral Water for drinking purpose. Insurance: Full travel, insurance coverage for medicine evacuation, lost of belongs; and trip cancellation is strongly recommended. Clothing and equipment list for the trip: Sleeping bags (down with inside extra cover), jacket (down) / polar fleece, with rain and water proofed, thermal underwear, wind / rain-proof trousers, woollen and sun hats, scarves (muffler), woollen or cotton socks, gloves, trekking boots, sun/snow glassed, towel, t-shirt/s, sunscreen/sun lotion, flash light with extra bulbs and batteries, sandals, water bottles, day pack (for your day time necessities), kit or duffel bag (to keep your personal belongings) first aid box/personal medicine walking stick. Please do not carry unnecessary items and / or valuables. Be sure you have the needy items ! Warm clothes, water bottle, water purification tabs, sun tan lotion utility knife, dusk musk, medicine for headaches, fever, colds, stomach disorders and diamox (unless you are allergic to sulpha drugs) for altitude sickness, It is also good to carry dry fruit, juice powder, breads, candy, canned or packed food, nuts, pickles and biscuits.
